4th of July

To celebrate the 4th of July we will make a flag. Materials include: red foam board, white card stock strips, blue card stock and white stars. I put the blue paper in the corner of the red foam board. A white strip goes up for every Patriotic Song we sing and the better we sing, the more stars we put up. Here's a picture of the partially created flag.
The songs we are going to sing are:
My Country 'Tis of Thee
The Start Spangled Banner
Book of Mormon Stories
12th Article of Faith
My Flag, My Flag
The Battle Hymn of the Republic
America the Beautiful

I don't expect them to know these songs very well, but I want them to have a chance to sing them. I'm considering reviewing again next week to see if they know the songs better.
I bought little toothpick flags for .99 at the Party Store for the kids to wave. They are cheap enough I'll let them keep them.
